Microshading/Ombre brows are also referred to as “Powdered Brows” are a permanent makeup tattoo technique used to give the illusion of fuller brows. Using an electric tool, which resembles a mini tattoo gun with a tiny needle which ensures that the ink is deposited consistently and evenly throughout the brow.

Numbing cream is used for this procedure. The topical ointment is applied on the area for a minimum of 30 minutes and throughout the entire procedure to lessen discomfort.

Usually this procedure will last 1-3 years depending on the skin type. A color boost is recommended yearly as long as the brow shape is still prominent. Once the shape disappears it will be considered an new microshading service. Color retention will vary between individuals and by a person’s lifestyle. Skin type, medications, sun exposure, and the use of certain skin care products, age, smoking, frequency of exercising and metabolism can effect the color retention.

The entire process takes 2-3 hours depending on the client's brows. However, it can be less so please plan your day accordingly. This is not a service that can be rushed.
